Day 1: Very Nasi Goreng – May 13:

Kickstart the festivities by savoring the exquisite flavors of Very Nasi Goreng on May 13th. This Indonesian-inspired dish promises a delightful fusion of spices, vegetables, and perfectly cooked rice, creating a symphony of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds!

Day 2: Penang Satay Noodles – May 14th:

On May 14th, dive into the rich and aromatic Penang Satay Noodles. Inspired by the vibrant street food culture of Penang, Malaysia, this dish features tender noodles drenched in a savory peanut sauce, topped with succulent chicken, and garnished with fresh herbs. It’s a culinary masterpiece you won’t want to miss!

Our recipe comes from a hawker stand that served satay sauce with hokkien noodles and sliced cucumbers.

Day 3: Cashew Nut Noodles – May 15th:

Experience the indulgent richness of Cashew Nut Noodles on May 15th. This Thai-inspired dish combines velvety noodles with crunchy cashews, crisp vegetables, and a symphony of spices, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors that will leave you craving for more.

Day 4: Chilli Basil Noodles – May 16th: 

Spice up your palate on May 16th with the fiery Chilli Basil Noodles. Bursting with bold flavors and aromatic herbs, this dish features tender noodles stir-fried with fresh chillies, fragrant basil, and an array of colorful vegetables, delivering a tantalizing taste experience that will ignite your senses.

This spicy and salty delight, also known as Drunken Noodles or Pad Kee Mao, is perfect for tackling hangovers with its invigorating flavors.

Day 5: Pad Thai – May 17th:

As the grand finale of the celebration on May 17th, indulge in the iconic Pad Thai. This beloved Thai classic features stir-fried rice noodles tossed with succulent prawn, tofu, crunchy peanuts, and tangy tamarind sauce, creating a symphony of flavors that epitomizes the essence of Thai cuisine.

Our Pad Thai sauce has the right balance of sweet and sour with a hint of chilli. Normally, Thai’s serve Pad Thai with bean sprouts for crunch, lemon or lime for sour, peanuts for nutty, sugar for sweet and chilli flakes for spicy. Our Chef decided to put the sugar, specifically palm sugar and chilli flakes inside the sauce to tailor to the Australian palate. The secret of this sauce is that it slowly simmers for over 2 hours.
